Desiring God's posting on Why Pastor's should Blog pushed me over the line of indecision: I will start a blog. To be honest-- this is not so much for others as for myself. I am often muddle-headed about things, and sitting down and writing thoughts out has clarifying power.
There are many things more helpful (and clarifying!) than writing. Prayer, get-out-and-do-it ministry like evangelism and mercy ministries, and reading the Bible are a few. I only hope that if I blog with disappointing irregularity it is because I am involved in better things.
